(ROSE HALL, JAMAICA) - October 7, 2005 - For those vacationers and second home buyers who fall in love with Jamaica, the island now boasts a new, notable condo hotel community. The Palmyra Resort & Spa at Rose Hall is currently under construction with Phase I scheduled to be completed in early 2007. Following the success of its February sales launch, The Palmyra's Founders Club is set to close November 15, 2005, indicating the end of pre-construction pricing.
"We recognize that visitors coming to the area want the luxury of a wonderful Caribbean beach with the signature tropical palm trees—we're going to give our owners just that," said Robert T. Trotta, developer of The Palmyra. "Other islands may offer breathtaking beaches as well; however, they cannot offer the mountains, natural fauna and beauty of Jamaica. We are going to offer the best of all worlds—500,000 square feet of powder sand beaches on one mile of oceanfront property in addition to membership to the Rose Hall Golf Association."
The Palmyra Founders Club, a special program that allows the first 50 buyers pre-construction prices and additional benefits is nearing its close. However, prospective buyers have one last opportunity to buy at The Palmyra at ground-level prices—the best price on the island. Founders Club members will receive an expense-paid vacation at the Ritz-Carlton(r) Rose Hall in 2006, invitations to Jamaica's most prestigious annual events such as the Pineapple Ball and Air Jamaica Jazz & Blues Festival, and a special recognition sign decorating the entrance of their unit. Most importantly, Founders Club members will be the first to move into their finished condo or villa, while receiving significant financial gains from the appreciation of the resort portfolio.
Construction has begun for Phase I of The Palmyra, which consists of 11 villas, two condo buildings, The Palmyra ESPA, infinity pool and beach. Having received all necessary approvals and following the official groundbreaking, the pilings and foundation have been built and are indicative of the six-star resort to come. To supplement The Palmyra's in-house construction team, they are recruiting talented workers from Riu, Pinero and Sunset Beach among other notable projects.
"The approach to delivering The Palmyra is to design and build it with the expert contractors we've brought on to execute the project. This will permit us to implement a pro-active quality control program, resulting in a superior quality product," said Peter Richter, The Palmyra's Project Manager.
